SUMMARY - In the United States (in the state of California), |
|
three people have died from Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF) |
|
since July of 2023, according to the Centers of Disease Control |
|
(CDC). The disease is transmitted via ticks but not from person |
|
to person. It has a 5-10% fatality rate. |
