| Did Oseltamivir help pregnant women in Brazil with Covid-19? Um. | |

| SUMMARY - A Brazilian study has concluded that there is no | |
| benefit to pregnant women taking the anti-viral oseltamivir | |
| (known also as "Tamiflu") in order to prevent severe disease or | |
| death from Covid-19. Oseltamivir was a desirable option in the | |
| country of Brazil due to its low-cost and accessibility, as | |
| opposed to other anti-virals at the time. | |
| NOTE - There is another study conducted earlier with a general | |
| population that cites a reduction of 2.5%. Given the two studies | |
| (no statistical difference & 2.5%), perhaps relying on | |
| oseltamivir shouldn't be anyone's "Plan A" for avoiding adverse | |
| Covid-19 outcomes, especially given that there are far better | |
| options (Moderna & Pfizer) available. | |
