| Children Mentally Benefited from Schools Re-Opening - Study | |
| By: Steve Date: December 9, 2025, 2:29 am | |
| --------------------------------------------------------- | |
| SUMMARY - A new study by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public | |
| Health has found that school re-openings from Covid-19 lockdowns | |
| reduced the occurrence of common mental health issues in | |
| children, most prominently in girls. The study notes that the | |
| findings apply mostly to higher-income environments and that | |
| more study is needed on the impact to lower-income environments. | |
| NOTE - Not mentioned is how the school closings (or re-openings) | |
| impacted infection and mortality rates... Or the many times that | |
| parents sent their children to school knowingly infected because | |
| of the 'daycare' aspect that schools play for working families. | |
