SUMMARY - A study has found that people with "Berger's disease" |
|
(IgA nephropathy) who then develop gross hematuria (blood in the |
|
urine) after receiving a Covid-19 vaccination shouldn't worry |
|
about long-term kidney function but there is short-term kidney |
|
function decline. |
|
NOTE - There are a few cautions about this study: (1). The study |
|
sample was considered small, (2). It involved patients who |
|
self-reported & (3). It was a retrospective study. |
|
As always, talk with your doctor about getting a Covid-19 shot |
|
if you've got "Berger's Disease." |
