SUMMARY - An outbreak of Equine herpesvirus (EHV) amongst horses |
|
in the American Southwest has forced the cancellation of a rare |
|
type of parade in the state of Kansas where all of the vehicles |
|
in the parade are horse-driven. EHV has many different forms, |
|
from the equivalent to a head cold to much more severe illnesses |
|
that could be fatal. |
