Masked Man Comment:
Comment in regards to probability and the term long covid:
It would be likely a wave of covid isnt confined to just the
control tower. If its in the control tower then it is likely
amongst passengers and staff as well. It appears from the
article that people are mostly worried about flight delays and
getting to football games. It's hard for me to believe in the
article there isn't any significant mention of precautions such
as mandating masking for passengers given the fact their staff
or at least the control tower is currently sick with covid.. of
course there is a high probability the staff is sick. Just
imagine pilots getting covid..its bad enough man thinks he can
fly...Staff would likely be sick from the last batch of maskless
passengers. Of course I am merely speculating but its likely
true; after all they are all stuffed together like sardines in
an enclosed area/cabin during flight. Think about it: If the
control tower has got covid then covid is probably on the rise
and there is likely outbreaks in the whole area.
Then of course there is no mention of long covid which could
affect staff and others for quite some time to come. That's the
real tragedy to me is that lack of mentioning many will go on to
suffer long covid therefore affecting career and quality of
life.
That is the biggest problem in my mind is 'long covid'. Typical
Newscasters and reporters and many others who talk about covid
often fail to mention 'long covid'. This failure to mention and
acknowledge 'long covid' is truly an injustice. Every time we
say covid we might as well include the term "long covid" while
we are talking about it otherwise people will pretend it is
likecovid is like a cold rather than treating covid as the
dangerous disease it is that often carries long term
repercussions .
Just imagine somebody in the control tower with lingering long
covid symptoms distracted by headaches fatigue etc. working off
a computer helping guide planes in the sky. Yikes!
Keep well grounded,
The Masked Man
