Elvis Costello & The Imposters have revealed they will no longer |

be appearing at this year�s Byron Bay Bluesfest, with �a key |
|
member� of the band having come down with COVID-19. |

I believe Elvis Costello also has had other health issues.. I |
|
can�t help but feel many of these musicians are �overdoing it� |
|
for their own sake. I�m simply concerned that catching covid is |
|
deadly because it is exasperated by other problems and |
|
exasperates the other problems .. to me if you have cancer or |
|
anything else combined with covid, it could take it�s toll.. |
|
even long covid will play a deadly hand combined with pneumonia |
|
for instance . |
|
Anyway my philosophy is to not to die doing something you love |
|
but rather �live by doing something different. I just feel it�s |
|
better to �live doing something you like� rather than die from |
|
something you love. These musicians are like athletes and |
|
politicians they simply don�t know how to work from the safety |
|
of their own home. The stage is highly overrated and for me it�s |
|
about longevity being creative in the home studio is where the |
|
healthy fun is. |
|
I can�t help but think my favorite rock stars would simply live |
|
longer rockin� from home and not catching contagious illnesses |
|
.. it would be neat to hear these rock stars crank out new |
|
material as well composing and performing online. They might |
|
add 10 to 20 more creative musical years onto their career by |
|
working from home in my opinion because contagious illnesses on |
|
the road play such a factor in death. |
