|
CONTEXT - "ISD" is an acronym that means "Independent School |
|
District." An independent school district is a school district |
|
that is governed by the state and not the town or county that it |
|
is in (hence, they are "independent"). "Early" is the name of |
|
the town and doesn't mean the word. The two school districts are |
|
in Abilene, Texas. That area of Texas is referred to as "Big |
|
Country" by locals. |
