Re: 2025 US Sports Illness Thread
By: Masked Man Date: January 5, 2025, 12:25 am
---------------------------------------------------------
In the past if I remember correctly before 2020 (at least after
AIDS and also before AIDS )they'd say I got a bad cold or
laryngitis, or bronchitis etc.
..back then they never hid anything unless they had AIDS.
Moreover they probably disclosed all their illnesses because if
they didn't people might think they had AIDS. If they hid the
diseases people during the AIDS scare people would assume you
had aids so nobody ever said "I was ill with a mystery disease
in the past at that time because it would scare the Jeeveies out
of people if ya said my illness is mysterious or I am not
telling you my illness.. that would scare people. at least that
is what I remember happened in the past. People would try to
work or go to school sick but eventually they'd go to the doctor
and then tell people"I went to doctor and he said I had this or
that. You never hid the illness unless it was a sexually
transmitted disease or maybe a disease like cancer but typically
people said what they had.
in my past ..people would say "go to the doctor's get a note
from doctor and give it to your teacher or coach and the note
said what illness you had. Yeah ya typically told people what ya
had because if you just said you had an illness they'd think you
had a sexually transmitted disease and maybe you would get
shunned and ridiculed.. that was my impression...you never said
I have a disease but I'm not going to tell you what it is
because then people would assume the worst and shun ya.
Now It's like a super secret! Its astronomical one doesn't
accidentally blurt out I got the stupid whooping cough or
covid.. out all these athletes not a one so far has slipped and
accidentally blurted out what they got by accident..lol.. like
there must be a super big money or a fine so big they must not
disclose.. like they will be killed by the mob or something if
they tell us. It's dishonest and a disservice to humanity.
Something has to change about that... that's just not free
speech... there's no way that many people would hold back what's
making them sick..its unnatural and inhumane not to let people
talk freely..its a disgrace that these people are obviously not
allowed to talk because of some force such as contracts or
insurance... this lack of free speech is shameful thing and
history is recording this lack of talking about what ills us as
we type this.
Yeah its hard to respect a person that can't tell his friends or
even the general public what he's got insofar as illnesses go..
its like they don't own themselves or have free speech... its
like they "aren't allowed to comment" truly like they are slaves
and somebody else owns them and they just can't freely speak on
the matter... that's pretty sad to be a puppet and not be
allowed to talk freely. They don't own themselves. Something is
holding them back because that's just not natural for a few guys
on the team to get illnesses and then pretend they are in the
mob or something and if they talk they die and its like they
went and swore an oath of silence on the matter. As team mates
they even act like they aren't telling each other...lol.. if
they telling each other then I'm surprised they don't snitch on
each other to the press..Its ridiculous and not normal behavior
for humans to be so secretive...lol
The "don't tell anybody what it is Ive got" is the same
disturbing policy for musicians as well as these sports stars
... its disturbing
..Some of the politicians seem to be disclosing what they have,
so far..which is good ..hopefully the politically active people
will continue to be as forthright as they have been.
Of course the biggest issue is that by not talking about what
ills us hurts us and others around us. To not talk freely or be
allowed to talk freely about what ills us and society is a grave
injustice indeed.
Of course this forum certainly can't be found guilty of hiding
what it knows! That's what this forum remedies its great about
keeping things out in the open to discuss, talking about stuff
others can't, keeping us informed, and it Keeps the ball
rolling! :)

Re: 2025 US Sports Illness Thread
By: Masked Man Date: January 5, 2025, 2:20 am
---------------------------------------------------------
This sports illness should continue of course with its reports
but I must discuss the nature of this problem further and it
regards the under reporting that might also be going on in the
sports world...
Here's something that also happens when sports stars and rock
stars hide, or don't disclose what their illness is .. lack of
trust.. it kills trust.. furthermore I tend to distrust the
other members to disclose the whole truth. For example how do I
know that half the guys with injuries aren't really sick with a
contagious disease? if they aren't going to disclose the illness
they got I bet ya half the guys with injuries aren't disclosing
they have an illness.. I mean if some of them aren't forthright
in telling us what the illness is there's probably a bunch of
them not telling us they are ill and simply pretending to be
injured... once trust is broken within a league or faction of
people's its hard to trust of them to be truly forthright
especially if they are already facing pressure not to disclose
what illness they have there's bound to be many not reporting
any illness when are ill. Its easier for some people to just say
they aren't ill so they don't have to lie about what they are
ill with.
Just keep in mind, There might be a lot more illness than
injuries going on than are being reported considering the
pressures these athletes and their teams face... I'm sure it
would be easier to report some injuries rather than a full blown
outbreak because they want to stay in the game.. that would be
natural to under report such stuff not that I'm accusing anybody
of anything but I'm considering the likely hood and pressures
for them to deceive is a reality for these bighots in their
prime. Covid is and was under reported and I don't think the
ball teams are required to test everybody obviously they aren't
required to report what illness they have.
Gotta keep in mind they ain't saying what they have so maybe
they don't want to scare anybody like maybe they have covid and
some of the team is asymptomatic and these guys are really
drivin to play(recently an entire team of soccer players played
with diarrhea!) and even lie and maybe Tommy is feeling kind of
rough so lets just say he sprained his wrist because if we tell
it like it is the world will know we have an outbreak and they
are all like "we can't let the team or the coach down and maybe
we will be okay" All this speculative of course in my part but
so are there lack of testing and laws..like they test for drug
abuse but there's no rules if several or many players have covid
and people just don't care they will play sick and beside they
aren't disclosing what the illness is probably because they
don't want anybody to know. You can't trust people that don't
disclose that and we know they aren't testing or bound by any
rules to forfeit if they all have covid or whooping cough or
even a weird influenza possibly even a new form of bird flu. I
wouldn't put it past these jocks without being disrespectful
there's big money on the line there and so there's plenty of
reason for them to lie and nothing to keep them from lieing and
withholding what disease they are sporting.. its their word.. we
are simply allowing them to not test and not disclose info and
play as I don't think there are any plans or rules in place
insofar as if covid numbers reach a certain status or not for
players to forfeit playing for several weeks until they test
negative for anything. That's all I know. That's all they are
letting us know.
lol.. really how much money do these teams have and bring in
because they act like they don't even have a doctor! lol I mean
c'mon they are raking in so much money and they can't even tell
us if they tested positive for anything or not...That's just
messed up for a billion dollar team to act like they don't even
have a doctor or take any tests...lol its pretty obvious they
don't want us to know something.
What they could do but don't do is they could do a bunch of
tests then publicly announce or declare the test results
publicly or to a committee that could relay this to the public
and just say what percent of players have this or that and not
give out the personal names which might be helpful to the world
to know and to those in close contacts including themselves and
their own team members. There's ways of keeping medical records
personal and personal names out of public but still counting and
citing and determining the cases and diseases and illnesses
involved. You'd think they would do that and then allow patients
to disclose their personal medical information as they see fit
themselves. Likewise we should know the kinds of diseases and
the number of medical cases involved without knowing the the
personal names for the sake of the general public. But they
won't do it because they wanna play more than anything.
In other words they should do tons of tests on these players who
are always in close contact with one another and tell us why and
what diseases and illnesses they have without necessarily
involving their personal names for the sake of humanity and not
to mention the health of the player for their own sake. Of
course nobody wants to be the bad guy and create rules and make
people get tested however they should want to know or they
should have been raised to want to want to know about their
illnesses and their teammates' illnesses.
Again there is nothing in place nor is there nothing that will
stop these players from playing. If an entire soccer team can
play with diarrhea then these players would play through leprosy
I kid you not they would play with with arms falling off..I joke
about but football players, boxers they risk serious longterm
repercussions from what they do for real..Its kind of hard to
stomach sometimes although I played a lot of different sports as
a child come to think of it these professional players of hard
contact sports go on to suffer from Parkinson diseases and all
sorts of neurological diseases and long term pain from numerous
injuries. Many of the greatest boxers and football players
simply in pain and have brain problems. They love to play and
give up their health for it .. that's why they also risk
airborne diseases I suppose. They are pretty crazy really. They
are like adrenaline junkies and it really catches up with them
the older they get... anyway the are hardwired and so driven
they are definitely at risk for catching diseases because of
their passion to play. They push things past the limit. They are
also extremely competitive and travel and gather with their
peers ...all this makes them the ideal specimen to study insofar
as viruses and contagious diseases go.
Let the games continue if they must...

Now its time for a brief departure from your regular programming
for
"Masked Man's Sports Illustrated Special Pandemic Don't Kiss
Your Mama With Those Lips Until You See a Doctor Edition"
Briefly Check out this stupidity:
"
https://www.si.com/nba/celtics/news/celtics-jayson-tatum-reveals-details-on-mys…
Celtics' Jayson Tatum Reveals Details on Mysterious Illness
" Tatum addressed the weird illness that took him out against
the Magic.
"Little virus, 24-hour, 48-hour bug. I felt fine the entire day,
felt fine during warmups then it just hit me during out meeting
right before the game. Let's just say, I lost a lot of fluids
over the last two days. So maybe a little fatigue I guess from
being sick the last few days but I was trying to push through it
and catch my second wind."
Masked Man Thinks in response to this.. totally
irresponsible..He doesn't even know what he's got..Is he still
contagious? This isn't revealing his mystery illness..its still
a mystery! .. this is dumb ... did ya get tested by a big doctor
so you can protect your health and team.. who are these guys and
who would want to be around them..its sick. Just call it a
"bug"...think he's okay ? Oh its just a bug! He doesnt know
squat ..he's an amateur.. there's like four five airborne
diseases going on right now.. what if he makes his buddies sick?
This is not a team player . he's a glutton for punishment and I
wouldn't go near guys like these or let my loved ones near him
even with a mask..its dangerous. He has no idea what he had or
still has. He's still trying to catch his second wind!
Check out this guy here LINK:
https://www.si.com/nba/bucks/news/bucks-news-damian-lillard-provides-more-detai…
Masked Man is stunned by this lack of medical diagnosis and
thinks ...another self diagnosed fool! ..his illness is even
worse than the last one at least the first stages of his illness
or disease are whatever it is he's got ... He's probably got
access to a some pretty powerful doctors but he plays it like
there is no doctor...
"Based on how Lillard describes the sickness, it doesn't sound
fun :"Ive never been that sick before in my entire life."
I wasnt throwing up, nothing. I just didnt eat for two days.
I didnt eat at all. I didnt get up, nothing. I was down. It
was bad.Still a little bit sick, feeling it in my chest and
coughing a little bit, but I expected it to be like that coming
into the game because I havent played.
"It sounds like the illness is more of a concern moving forward
than his calf strain is. He's not worried about the calf getting
re-injured, but the effects of this illness could linger for a
little longer. He might be dealing with some coughing and other
issues for a couple of more games.
Masked Man thinks.. this guys a moron. he can't even talk right
or make complete sentences when talking to the press.. then he
goes on to say."never been that sick in my entire life" you
don't say!? did he even see a doctor!? who knows what he's got
and it sounds like he's going to be coughing while joining the
others in the game as it is stated "He might be dealing with
some coughing and other issues for a couple of more games" and
"Lillard also mentioned that he's not completely through with
the sickness and had to deal with it on the court against the
Bulls".Masked Man thinks this is ridiculous! NBA buy a doctor
for these basketball teams .. they are just playing sick this is
the pandemic playoffs.. There's a whole bunch of players who are
going be around these guys who are still coughing and feelings
sick.. this is weird! Again this guy says "he's never been that
sick in his entire life" That's as serious a statement as it
gets, folks. When someone says they've never been that sick in
their entire life and yet they don't even know what they've got
and they are ready to get back into the game we are talking
mental illness perhaps amongst not just this particular player
but also amongst his peers and parental figures or whoever looks
after him Its just not right. again: "never been that sick in
their entire life" I say hey masochist, don't spread that to
your loved ones... don't play ball ..your still coughing..your
still sick and see a doctor and tell the doctor to wear a mask!!
Lillard as stated in his interview is clearly playing sick with
a totally undiagnosed illness that Lillard described in his own
words as the worst illness he's ever experienced in his life!
Okay let the games resume this should prove an interesting
season....

Fantasy Impact:

Masked Man's sports commentary:
Masked Man referee cries foul! okay so whatever illness he has
got they don't even say. They might not know themselves what
illness he has got and yet they are just sort of playing it by
ear and perhaps hoping symptoms will just go away for the third
game...
...whatever it is he's got we hope the other team players don't
get officially or unofficially...lol.. and we wish him a speedy
recovery and hope its not contagious or that its a disease of a
serious nature... and this goes for all those players whom
either aren't going to the doctor's for a diagnosis or simply
don't want to know what they are infected with or transmitting
to one another.
One player so far out of all of them disclosed he had the flu..
Steelers Cam Hayward was dealing with the Flu ... of course
that's still vague because there's lots of different kinds of
flu and so "the flu" is like saying "the bug" or something.. its
just too vague to count it as a real diagnosis...
... so I'd say so far no real descriptions of illnesses have
occurred with a single player so far and they have not broken
their record of not knowing or stating what their illness really
is so far! Out of all those players, What are the odds of that!?
Now that's a record!
Ladies and germs, who will be the first athlete to break the
record who will be the first player to actually know what
disease he's got!?..sports fanatics want to know! the suspense
is building as the sneezin' season gets underway!
Obviously they are getting tested for illegal amphetamine use
and other illegal drugs by bigshot doctors but I guess none of
these health conscious athletes who pride themselves on human
strength and endurance have discovered the advent of the various
covid and flu tests available! Maybe the covid/flu tests are too
challenging or difficult for these athletes to administer ...
you know, the covid/flu test directions are too hard for them to
understand and have an inherent learning curve in them that's
just beyond the scope of their schooling. These animals are
breakin' records alright! Hope they don't make their buddies
sick with any weird unforgiving diseases.
That be funny someday if there will be some secrets and
mysteries are revealed show and they'll have some anonymous
athlete in a dark corner with a hood on and his voice disguised
revealing the secrets of the competitive sports team as to why
all their illnesses had to be kept a secret! lol
We could play a game called "dodge the disease" That's where we
wear masks and disinfect stuff a lot and actually try not to get
infected by nor infect our friends, loved ones, or team members
with any diseases or illnesses during a pandemic era..winner
doesn't catch a diseases and remains healthy! Its pretty awesome
game to win! So far I'm winning and haven't caught anything in
five years of masking.
Not only that But I am an athlete that wears a mask while doing
sports! In the Miscellaneous Section of this forum I have
produced several videos some under the sections entitled "My
videos of Me doing everyday tasks in my mask" & "Masked Man
Bicycle Ride and other videos inspire others to mask up". All my
videos feature me in a safety mask riding bicycle for 6 mile
round trips, doing martial arts techniques, juggling three balls
(while the typical athlete chases after one ball), I even shovel
snow, stack wood, clean chimneys, and go up on the roof to clean
gutters all in my safety mask. Now that's athletic and that's
sportsmanship at its finest proving I am not only a winner
playing sports but I wear a safety mask while doing it all! I
challenge these so called hot shot athletes to the stuff I can
do while wearing a safety mask! I'mm 55 years old and I'd
probably beat any of these young maskless athletes in a bicycle
race here in the mountains or a woodchopping session or a
juggling of three balls in the air while in my mask! ha! Ha! I
train in a mask! I challenge them to put on a safety mask and
see if they can do half what I can do in my videos! lol! I"m
dead serious I could wup these young athletes in most any
athletic contest any time any day in my mask and I challenge
them to wear a safety mask! We could do fundraiser for a public
awareness cause if one of these rich athletes would mask up and
challenge me to friendly game of masked sports..perhaps a masked
Bicycle race on my street or something in my street! I'm game
for that and in my prime. Here's me in the Masked Olympia
Quarantino Solo Martial Artist Division featuring Martial Artist
Masked Man hosted by Bob and Joe ..classical
guitar by Richard Easley LINK:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BwEc-N2USWFBhkEsPHfYK03vMcYzzx8i/view
I guess I'm poking fun of myself in the quarinteeno olympic
video, I tell you one thing. I live in a university town and I
was truly terrorized on more than one occasion by unruly after
game football parties.. I mean the worst.. young men popping out
of cars with beer cans in their fists right in front of my home
on an otherwise sleepy small neighborhood street.. gunpowder and
firecrackers scaring my pets into the corner.. maskless kids
parking in your yard in the middle of night inebriated ,,It was
traumatizing truly sickening for a small dead end street to be
hit by something like a rave party where kids take over and
there isn't enough bathrooms to go around and so people walking
up and down the street drunk, yelling and screaming and leaving
trash and beer cans in your yard and going bathroom in yards, we
ended calling sheriff and the sheriff had to have commissioners
from two county meet and finally the one house that was throwing
these football game parties got in trouble... it was like a
war.. me in my mask and hordes of drunken kids in the middle of
night making fun of me and me almost getting into fights.. I'd
never been so happy to see law enforcement in my life. I
survived like a dozen nights of pure nightmare scared life and
property and home and scared of losing it all while being in a
mask around a bunch of drunken out of control people on my
street that didn't have enough parking places in middle of
night. That was pure trauma until finally law enforcement fixed
these unruly events. So yeah I have no respect for the
university football parties that occur from these sporting
events. They had no respect for my mask and it was like a riot
just occurred overnight ..it was like being raided and scary
where you couldn't control a mob of drunk kids running around.
That's not to say there are many responsible sports fans out
there. However college kids, after game football parties and
pandemics and masked men such as myself who are taking care of
immunocompromised loved ones and trying to social distance just
don't mix! whew .. it was shocking to a sleepy street to see
such lawlessness... that's why I am grateful to our local law
enforcement finally handling that. Inebriated college aged post
football game people are on the same level for me as hurricane
Helene. Same level of trauma. By the way keep those sick player
stats coming in Data Report I can hardly wait to see the next
sick one..lol ..just kidding sort of. I'd rather deal with a
sick one than a drunk one..lol
If I were stinking' rich I'd offer a trophy or something like
the Masked Man Moral Integrity Award to the first player to
actually determine and publicly state the disease they were
sporting! lol.. Perhaps some athlete who has developed a moral
compass and was in the Boy Scouts or something would step up to
the plate and say something like "well, I could a been a
contender! I could a been somebody! or I could played sick
anyway but instead I thought to myself: What if made somebody
sick on the team and they ended up dying or with long term
repercussions or they made their mom or pops sick all because me
wanting to win the big game? So I stayed home until I fully
recovered. Besides Ive never been so sick in my entire life!"
Then I the masked Man, would juggle in my Mask for the morally
upright athlete and present them a trophy award of excellence
on the days I wasn't performing my joggling or classical guitar
Masked Man concerts for sick children at hospitals.
Okay the players all consent to this... time in...
...Referee Masked Man says okay play ball!!! Let the games
resume for better or worse! For in sickness or good health just
like marriage!
