Australia - Queensland hit with surge from XEC strain |

SUMMARY - In the country of Australia, the state of Queensland |
|
is experiencing a surge of Covid-19 cases, fueled by the XEC |
|
strain. An average 258 people in Queensland are being sent to |
|
the hospital with Covid-19 per day, a 128 per cent increase from |
|
less than two weeks ago. The majority of those hospitalized |
|
during this surge are 65 years old and older. |
