UK - 27% Rise of Covid Deaths in One Week |

SUMMARY - The National Health Service (NHS) has issued a warning |
|
to United Kingdom citizens that Covid-19 is on the rise and to |
|
take precautions. Data from the United Kingdom Health Security |
|
Agency (UKHSA) as of the week up to 2024-10-09 (October 9, 2024) |
|
has Covid-19 deaths rising 27% in one week to 163 deaths with |
|
2,622 hospital admissions. It is not known what Covid-19 |
|
variants are driving the rise. |
