SUMMARY - People residing in the National Capital Region (NCR) |
|
in the Philippines experienced poor air quality today |
|
(2024-08-19) due to "vog," or volcanic smog from Taal Volcano. |
|
The area of Makati was worst hit with an Air Quality Index (AQI) |
|
of 163 which is considered "very unhealhty" but other nearby |
|
areas had a range AQI range of 116 to 144. |
