Landslides - Nepal - 2024 events |

|
SUMMARY - Two landslides in the country of Nepal claimed the |
|
lives of seven people. Four people were killed in the Bajhang |
|
district when a house was swept away, including a grandmother |
|
and two of her grandchildren. Three other people were killed in |
|
the Jajarkot district when a temporary shelter became buried in |
|
a landslide. The causes were not explicit although Nepal is |
|
currently in its monsoon season where heavy rainfalls frequently |
|
cause landslides. |
