SUMMARY - In the state of Oregon (Country: United States), there |
|
have been 20 cases of shellfish poisoning, causing the state to |
|
close their coast for mussel harvesting. The neighboring state |
|
of Washington has also done the same. Shellfish poisoning is not |
|
considered fatal but severe cases do require significant |
|
hospitalization which may include sufferers being put on a |
|
ventilator. |
