SUMMARY - Officials in the country of New Zealand predict that |
|
more extreme rainfall will yield more cryptosporidiosis |
|
outbreaks. They cited that 13 such outbreaks coincided with |
|
extreme weather events between the years 1997 and 2015. New |
|
Zealand has had 16,000 cases of the illness between the years |
|
1997 and 2015. |
