E. Coli - U.S. - Outbreak originated from Organic Walnuts |

SUMMARY - In the United States, Gibson Farms, an organic farm in |
|
the state of California, has recalled walnuts that it sold under |
|
the brand "Organic Light Halves and Pieces," after the walnuts |
|
were found to be contaminated with E. Coli. Twelve people have |
|
fallen ill, seven serious enough to be hospitalized and two |
|
critically with a form of kidney failure. |
