Conjunctivitis - Zambia - 1,500 cases |

SUMMARY - In the country of Zambia, the Minister of Health has |
|
reported that there is currently 1,500 cases of conjunctivitis |
|
("Pink Eye") in the country. The cases began appearing on March |
|
7th of this year and that the majority of these cases are in the |
|
eastern part of the country. The minister urged citizens to not |
|
share towels, washcloths and eye make-up, along with not |
|
touching or rubbing near one's eyes. |
