Polio - Sudan - Wastewater detection prompts vaccination campaig |

SUMMARY - The country of Sudan has detected Polio in six |
|
wastewater samples, causing the Federal Ministry of Health to |
|
begin a polio vaccination campaign starting in April of 2024. |
|
For this latest round of polio vaccinations, Sudan will use the |
|
World Health Organization (WHO) approved Type 2 Novel Oral polio |
|
(nPOV2) vaccine. |
