Hi All, and many thanks for allowing me to join the group.
Im based up in the Durham area and over the years have spent
many hours working on various engineering projects having been
on the machine tools and then progressing into the dreaded
management side of things haha. Still wanting and enjoying
being on the tools has led me down many routes and several
restoration projects and model building ventures. Having
stumbled across some you tube videos, and watched a lot, it
sparked the interest in combining model building and vehicles
and thought, lets go for it, and here I am.
Im keen to see some builds in the flesh and itching to get
started. Are there any builders in the North East and are there
any up and coming shows or meets I could attend? Many Thanks Tim

Ey up Tim, the North East is still a bit quiet on builds but the
North as a whole meets up for builder's meets occasionally (we
are due one) I think I might try to persuade Tim Holdsworth to
host in Bingley. I am in South Cumbria, Ade is in the Borders
and we have several members in North Wales, Mersey side
Lancashire and Yorkshire. If you are ever in Cumbria, I would
host a visit. I have two and a third in build.
