BBC Cyclekart Interview 19/12/24
By: jim Date: December 18, 2024, 1:06 am

I've been working with my mate Charlotte who presented a classic
car program on Dave channel. We have been doing an interview
about Cyclekarts in the uk. This is going to be aired on BBC
radio Northampton tomorrow morning.(19/12/2024) It was loads of
fun talking about the history of the hobby in the uk and the
people who made it grow into the success it is now. Because it
has grown so much in the last couple of years, I know now that
the BBC are keen to do a follow up with a television article.
This sort of exposure should help the hobby grow even more. I'm
surprised Jonny Smith from the 5th gear TV program didn't do an
article on CK's a couple of years ago, Me and Andy B invaded his
Late Brake show in my CK and almost parked it on his stage. I
think the last social media filmed interview was Barry at
Brooklands.

I have just heard that unfortunately it is going to be moved
back a week. Although to be fair a really interesting article
about fence panels warping is on instead.

Thats awesome news great to hear Cyclekarts are finally
getting the media attention they deserve! The BBC feature could
really give the hobby a boost, especially with how much its
grown lately. A TV follow-up sounds like the perfect next step.

Gives us a week Jim to get our garden fences in top condition,
then we can sit in the garden and listen to the radio outdoors !
Sure it will be worth the wait !! ;D
