CyanProduction Rules (Last Updated: 25/11/14)
By: CyanGaming Date: October 17, 2014, 4:20 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
General Rules of CyanProduction Forums:
These apply to all content posted on the forum
1. Bypassing and/or inappropriate language is forbidden:
You must use language that isn't censored, (turned to
"BEEP" when posted) and you may not use tricks to get around the
censor.
2. Spamming is forbidden:
Posting the same thing consecutively, posting off-topic
comments, posting gibberish comments, posting in locked boards,
and/or posting counting threads in any category is considered
spam.
3. Racism and sexism and general intolerance is forbidden:
Personal opinions are fine and all, but if they are
intolerant to those of different races, genders, nationalities,
or religions then keep them to yourself.
4. Flaming and/or harassment is forbidden:
Flaming is insulting other members with harmful intent
and/or in a very scathing manner. Though opposing opinions are
allowed and debates among members are normal; at no time should
one post vile and hateful comments directed towards other users.
5. Alternate accounts and hacking are forbidden:
At no point in time will you be allowed to have more
than one forum account unless given explicit permission by me.
"Fresh starts" will not be given. Hacking is logging into (or
trying to log into) another user's account. Publicly releasing
your account information is considered the same as hacking.
6. Inappropriate content in posts is forbidden:
Anything that displays, depicts, describes, or heavily
suggests an inappropriately sexual, hyper-violent, and/or
generally offensive things/acts are not allowed. If it is too
much to appear in a modern "PG" movie then it likely isn't ok.
7. Encouraging Rule Breaking is forbidden:
This is self explanatory; if you encourage others to
break the rules under any cir****stances you will be punished as
well.
8. Personal information of yourself or another user is not to be
shared:
Personal information contains but is not limited to
pictures, names, locations, ages, and facebook accounts.
9. Posting or doing ANYTHING illegal in your country:
Encouraging drug or alcohol use is forbidden. This also
extends to anything involving software or media piracy and/or
****.
10. Reporting Perfectly Fine Comments is Forbidden:
Reporting offensive comments is important for the
forums, but reporting comments that don't break rules undermines
the integrity of the system. We can tell who reported comments
so don't act like you're being smart if you do this
intentionally.
11. Impersonating Staff is Forbbiden:
It's an annoyance to the staff, impedes our duties,
threatens forum security, and can be confusing to other users.
12. Signatures:
Anything using media plugins like Adobe Flash or plays
sounds is not allowed. Also make sure your signatures do not
contain any form of Malware.
13. Complaints:
If you have broken any of the rules above and complain,
you'll be given another warning.
