Color Kingdom RP~ Locked
By: Agrina Date: February 16, 2016, 10:55 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Color Kingdom RP
In a kingdom where colors reigned supreme, where the
colored sectors glittered and everyone was happy, and nothing
would ever be wrong, came a time where everything that could go
wrong went wrong.
Goddess Epik, the goddess of souls, stopped answering.
And the kingdom went to war... against itself.
The Blue and Red sectors were the first to revolt. They were
pitted against each other. Red blood ran. Blue veins were cut.
Then other sectors went to war. The Ultramarine district. The
Gold sector. The Cherry district. Queen Wolf and the Princess
Consort Celes tried to maintain the peace, to calm the turmoil.
Assassins, snipers, enchanters, mages, even the head of the
queen's guard and the general roamed the streets of the sectors.
Mistakes were made, and many brave soldiers met their conversion
in battle. Yet the war, which has gone on for a year, though it
feels like many, is just starting...
Inside the queen's palace, some are rebelling. Not even the
strongest city with the sturdiest walls can suppress-or
survive-an attack from the inside. Insurgents are rising, some
more surprising than others. Silversmiths. Stablemasters.
Handmaidens. Healers. Even the queen's advisors and scribes are
ready to fight for her. But one false move, and they shall
perish too...

Rules:
Rule #1- You HAVE to have a role in the Color Kingdom thread.
You can't just join randomly.
Rule #2: No god modding, no superpowered roles. Your character
should have both strengths and weaknesses. (This applies to me
as well.. >:( )
Rule #3: Be nice to everyone, but don't be afraid to call anyone
out, as long as it's actually wrong.
Rule #4: HAVE FUN!
I have decided to forbid being able to turn into dragons. Sorry!

Re: Color Kingdom RP~ ALMOST READY
By: Agrina Date: February 21, 2016, 12:24 am

A lone figure stood gazing at the starry sky. "It is ready,"
they breathed, as they looked at the quartz-like stars. "Soon,
my power will surpass even the Goddess'..." they cried.
"AGRINAAAA!" a voice yelled as I jerked awake. My cuckoo clock
opened and closed, opened and closed. "AGRINAAA!" my clock
chirped again. I looked at it. The hands pointed to 8:30. Oh,
great. I needed to get to the palace! I rushed out of bed,
barely stopping to strap my daggers into my boots. Then I raced
over to the palace.
Queen Wolfwas sitting on her throne, looking out the window when
I came in. She turned towards me as I hurriedly bowed. "S-sorry,
Your Highness. I," My face felt hot. "I, uh, overslept." The
queen laughed. "It does not matter." She tried to look happy,
but it quickly fell away into tiredness. Presumably because of
the year-long civil war. "Oh, oh, you may be dismissed." Queen
Wolf distractedly said. I bowed quickly and rushed out of the
throne room.

((Yay! :D It's here!))
The light filtering through my window slowly woke me up, after a
bit of grumbling and covering my eyes with the blankets. I sat
up and yawned, stretching my arms out. After glancing out the
window, I realized that I had overslept. "Darnit!" With a look
around my room, I spotted my cat. "You!" He yawned and looked up
at me sleepily. "You're supposed to wake me up, you dimwit!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," he mewed, and went back to sleep. I
glared at him and he jumped up, yelping and holding on to his
tail. "Ow! That was HOT!"
"Well, that's what you get for not doing your job! You get to
sleep and eat all day, and you can't just wake me up in the
morning at six??" I snapped at him as I pulled on my cloth armor
(sounds like an oxymoron, right?) and rushed out the door,
slamming it behind me. I ran out of the palace and into the
daylight, squinting as they adjusted to the sudden change in
light.

I raced to the servants' bathroom to check my face. I closed the
door and looked in the mirror. My reflection stared back at me.
I sighed and took out a travel comb, along with a hair tie. My
hair was a mess. At least the purple streaks in my jet-black
hair hadn't faded yet. I pulled out my mascara and did my
eyelashes to make my hazel-green eyes noticeable. Yeah, I was
vain. Plus I usually got to the palace late. It was a habit of
mine. Still embarrassing each time it happened though.
I slowly walked out of the bathroom, the steel on my boots
clicking on the floor. I walked to the practice room. "-and
that's how you do a convertion stab. Oh, hello, there, Agrina."
The rough eyes of the trainer softened. I was pretty sure he had
a crush on me. I rolled my eyes and replied, "Hello to you too,
Thomas." His face brightened and he turned back to his training
happily. I sauntered to the corner of the room and chose a gaily
painted fan from the weapons bin. "Pfft. A girl like you
choosing a useless fan? Typical." one of the men scoffed. Thomas
opened his mouth, but I beat him to it. "And a man like you
underestimating the power of this 'useless fan'? Typical." I
threw the fan at a quarterstaff one of the men were using. It
split it in half as the men stared at me in amazement. I glared
at them back as I begun to stretch, not bothering about the fan.

All the men gave me some space after that incident. Finally the
practice room was empty. I didn't want to risk injuring someone
that i wasn't told to kill or injure. I envied those tall,
almost 40% body fat magic users. They were lucky enough to just
watch from the back lines, sipping water while sending bolts of
lightning to convert their enemies. Us physical strength, brute
force killers? We got all the flack. We were blamed for slaying
too many, while in reality it was the soft-looking magic users
who killed more than we did.
My mind snapped back to the present. I looked down and saw that
the dummy I had been working with was ripped to shreds. I sighed
and took out a palace sewing machine from under the basket of
dummies. This always happened whenever I went off on a tangent.
I put the pieces of the dummy back together and mended it,
sighing as I went.

((I'm just gonna go ahead and post, and I'm going to say that
the cat is wearing a magical collar that allows him to speak, if
that's alright.))
Stopping for a moment to catch my breath, I looked around the
city to see it bustling and busy as usual. "Guess I shouldn't go
to the markets today," I muttered, then continue to run over to
the library.
With a small wave at the guards, I walked through the two large
doors and into the main room. The librarian raised her head
briefly from the book she was reading as I placed three books on
the counter and then walked past it and into the maze of
shelves. "Fire magic... Fire magic..." A frown appears on my
face as I try to find the book I need, but end up taking three,
all on the same subject. I sat down and opened one, flipping
through the pages and examining the spells, occasionally writing
down one or two in my notebook.

I finished training. I pushed open the door and walked into the
sunlit city. Even though the sectors were still at war, they
occasionally took time off to celebrate wins. Right now the
Cherry sector was celebrating theirs. The markets were full of
merchants and stands filled with goods, with some supposed
"lucky charms", with the color of the past winner of a large
battle on them. There was also one small shop in the corner that
sold tempered steel, finer than a mage staff made of silver. The
silversmiths shop was also somewhere around that shop. I looked
around and went into the blacksmith's forge, where I would get
my newest weapon.

"Your weapon is ready." the blacksmith grunted. I smiled
politely and took the oilcloth-wrapped package from the counter.
"Do you have any rune emblems carved in it?" I asked. "Yes, I
asked one of my friends to help me do it." I handed over a small
leather pouch. It contained a few gold coins. I saluted and
waved. Then I walked out the door.
I went back to the training room and set up five dummies. Then
five more were set up in front of those. The back five were
given iron training staffs and the front ones were given dulled
iron rods. I took out my new weapon. My steel fan glimmered in
the weak sunlight. The runes glistened and lightning bolts came
from the training staffs, heading straight towards me.

There was a smell to enchantment magic, something similar to the
smell of patchouli and pine mixed with snow, and the Enchanter
Tower reeked of it. I guess I probably did too, honestly, and
the smell liked to cling to anything I happened to enchant. The
sun was in my eyes, casting a pale golden light all throughout
the top floor of the Tower through the large windows that
circled it.
I lifted my head from the book I was using as a pillow, feeling
a page stick momentarily before it released, and blinked
blearily at the words before me, trying to recall what it was I
was researching. Something about magical properties of
dragons.... I shook my head and stood, stretching, figuring it'd
probably come to me as I went about my routine.
There was a basket of fruit on another table and I grabbed an
apple as I walked by it, the cool stone of the floor chilling my
bare feet. The juice ran down my chin when I bit into it and I
checked my list of requisitions, scanning it quickly and
absently waving away Borea, the small purple-hued Fae dragon
that had chosen the Tower as his home, as he fluttered by my
head. As I moved to begin, I opened the insect cage as I passed
it for him, figuring he was hungry, and set out the multiple
tools of my trade. The smell of enchantment magic was strong as
I started to weave.
((I'd say sorry for the long post but ~Intro Posts~ are always
difficult to shorten for me))
