The quick and the dead

This is in my own words and my own understanding so please
don't take offense if you disagree.
In the book of revelation , it is said that what is written
is what will shortly come to pass and be there after. There they
show a picture of Jesus at the judgment throne and around him
are the four beast and the twenty four elders. If you know the
scriptures the twenty four were the ministry of the temple and I
would say the priest and deacons that were in charge of the
keeping of the church. You notice that whenever the four beast
gave glory to the Lord the twenty four would fall down, as dead.
When John saw the Lord, he fell down as dead and the Lord said ,
rise up, it is me that was dead and is alive, forevermore. Now
just before the book of acts and at that beginning Jesus told
his disciples they would have to die and what sort of death they
would die.
Now , I'm sure we would all agree Jesus is called the word
of God and when we look upon the new testament it is Jesus we
look upon and he even said, this is my body and the blood of the
new testament. Now Moses told his people that what he put before
them was the death and life and that too is the word he gave
them, the scrolls or scriptures. So when we look and read the new
testament we see before us life and death. Paul even said we are
baptized into his death. Being baptized is more then placing
water on someones head and saying they are baptized , it is to
be covered with the teaching of that person. If you look at the
picture of Jesus as he is described in the book of revelation
you see his eyes as fire and the sword in his mouth and his feet
as tried by fire.
So they all saw Jesus as he was years ago as his disciples
and we see him that was when we read the bible but that is Jesus
with the sword and the physical look and sight of Jesus but the
Spirit is the life and to see him that way is to see the
spiritual understanding of everything written and what it means.
The quick are quickened in their mind by the spiritual things
and see Jesus as alive but to take the book literally is the
death the disciple has to die and the dead in Christ. It was
John who went to the cross and saw Jesus raised up. Although the
world sees it like Jesus was killed at the cross, it was the
fathers will he be raised up. The others didn't go so their
death was as seeing him as the flesh.
Now we all worship Jesus but in what way. What is a beast
anyway if it is not a person without understanding. A beast has
no understanding so people without understanding are likened
unto as beast. The beast in revelation was on a with horse and
the horse represents the war machine bridles and under control
of it rider and white, purity. But then the beast took peace
from the earth and brought death and plagues. This is all from
the understanding given of the bible.
So who are the quick and who are the dead ? The quick see
Jesus raised up into an exalted spiritual state while the dead
see as through that veil, the flesh, and their understanding is
without the spiritual understanding.
We all worship Jesus, but how is it we should be worshiping
him and what is death and how do we get rid of its sting. We
have to worship Jesus as the risen Lord and in the higher
understanding, the higher elevated understanding and this is to
live and die to self and that is , it is no longer I that liveth
but Christ that liveth in me.
Why would God let that happen. Because the flesh of Jesus was
given as the law for the world and justice for the sinners of
the world but that is in the higher righteousness of this world
, not God's. Jesus in the exalted state is again much higher
then that. More then healing your eyes, he gives eternal sight
and life eternal. The flesh doesn't do that and the flesh is the
book taken literally with the carnal mind and understanding and
that is the mark of the beast.
You could say the catholic church is the beast or the
protestant church is the beast or any church but I say all that
have not the spiritual understanding are the beast and it is now
that the mark is being removed and all the churches are in the
same state less the come to know the Lord spiritually with the
spiritual understanding. All the churches of Jesus Christ come
out of the one and she was there too from the time of the
apostles and they even say it in the scriptures, the Antichrist
was there.

[font=andale mono]Colin,
I think most people that have spent time in the Bible have a mix
of literal and spiritual understanding. If I understand 1Cor.
12:8-10, then wisdom and understanding are gifts given to some
by the Spirit, and there are other gifts. To some, the Bible is
a dead letter and when they read it, yes, they have little or no
understanding of it. If they have no love of God, they may
well be lost. I remember picking up a Bible years ago, glancing
through it and thinking, "Bah! Who could understand all this
stuff?" It all seemed like gibberish or the writing of someone
on drugs. I tossed God's Word in the trash with absolutely no
remorse or understanding of what I had done. But, God drew me
and I drew closer to God, and I began to read and the milk of
Scripture was nourishment to me in the beginning. I can't see
milk as bad, but as a starting point that all children grow
from. Gradually, we seek and are rewarded with stronger foods,
but I'm sure I haven't grasped all of the meat of Scripture, and
I'm sure there are few that have.
I believe understanding of Scripture is very desirable and very
important because it helps us to know God and to understand Him.
I also believe very much that we can not underestimate the
grace and mercy of God. Little children, people with
disabilities, and even those who must struggle on the streets or
those who must physically labor to the point of not having a lot
of time for study--such people still very often have a deep,
abiding love of God and a trust in the salvation of Jesus
Christ, based on His death on the cross. They believe that as
He was raised, so too, will they be raised from death to life.
I suppose that there are even those people who have no Bible,
but who live lives in dedicated service to a greater good, which
is ultimately love and the One True God, and that such people
honor and serve Jesus, perhaps even without knowing His name.
God is merciful and those whose hearts are dedicated to Him will
not be forgotten. They may never learn every spiritual
understanding of Scripture in this life, but they do understand
and live "love". God will be faithful to somehow reach every
lost sheep. Human love and our concepts of love are, of course,
below God's concept of love, which is referred to as "agape"
love, but still, love remains and nothing is greater.
While I seek the higher understanding, and wisdom, and am
thrilled when I see new things and begin to understand some of
the depth of Scripture, still I can't underestimate the power of
love. Human love can accomplish much, so how much more the
love and enduring mercy of God? I don't fully understand--I am
not skilled to understand--what God has willed, what God has
planned. I only know that at His right hand, stands One who is
called Savior. He holds the world in His hands. He will save
who He will save. Love covers a multitude of sins.
As I love you, my brother.
