Ability and gifts

The Lord was talking to me about God given abilities and gifts
of the Spirit.
We are all created by God and as such are all born with God
given abilites. One person is fast, another strong, another
smart, another cleaver, and so on.
Whether a person knows God or not is not relevant, when it comes
to God given abilities. A person can be and evil cruel, lying,
thief, hate God, and be totally controled by demons, and still
be fast, strong, smart, cleaver, and so on.
Now on the day of Pentecost when the devote followers of God
were gathered, the Spirit of God came on them and they all got
the gift of tongues. It is easy to see that the Holy Spirit gave
them a gift, which was not an ability they had before. Now there
are stories where a person that had never played the piano
before, suddenly knew how to play the piano when the Spirit of
God moved on them.
Now we should all use our God given abilities to sevre God,
however there are Spiritual gifts that we are supposed to
desire. Do we?
Do we desire to have the gift of the Spirit, to go with our God
given abilities?
If we desire a gift, we ask for it.
Are we asking for tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy,
miracles, faith, words of knowledge, spiritual wisdom, according
to the will of the Spirit? (see 1 Cor 12:8-10)
The above gifts are not your God given abibity, but are gifts
available from the Holy Spirit, and it is written that we are
supposed to desire them.
Love is more important that the gifts, so we are to have love,
but we are also told to desire the gifts.
Too often I have seen love used as an excuss for not asking
(desiring) the gifts of the Spirit.
Too often I have seen people using there God given abilities to
serve the Lord, but not the abilities of the Holy Spirit. Do we
actually think that we serve God and people better by only using
our abilities and that the abilities and gifts of the Spirit
would not help us serve God? We are probably just not thinking
right. The abilities of the Holy Spirit are in the gifts He can
gives us, and wouldn't the abilities of the Holy Spirit go well
with our abilites, to help us serve God better?
Why don't we start asking for the Holy Spirit to help us and
give us the gifts to be used with our God given abilities, so
that we might better servie God and people? What is love all
about?

I have been thinking CBE. I know that Faith, Hope, and Love
are the greatest things we can attain. Hope is not a problem
for me, I have my hope in the Lord and what He provides me as
enough for my purpose here on this earth. I have love, not as
much as I should no doubt, but I have love, and I am even sure
how to increase it, as I have been doing bit by bit. But
faith.... I am not sure how to increase faith... and I mean a
step by step way. Part of me thinks that by exercising my
faith... taking a leap of faith... stretching it so to speak,
will increase it. But another part of me thinks its only
through prayer, a greater amount, and not the one sided prayers
that many have, but the kind you speak of... talking to the Lord
and feeling the answer in your spirit. I do this as well, but
not always. Sometimes its one sided, and sometimes its just
talking to Jesus and expecting an answer. Perhaps greater
faith comes with the personal bond we create with the Lord,
above and beyond just normal praying. Maybe thats why you are
successfully involved in healing others, due to your greater
faith from your "personal" bond with Jesus. I have been used
by the Lord in other ways that healing, but never that way(other
than being one of many who pray for others for thier healing and
the healing occurs, but it may well not be "MY" faith that
healed them, it could be thier own faith or the faith of others
praying, but never part of the multiple laying on of hands -
which is no doubt important to keep ourselves from becoming
proud of our personal gift of healing). I may on my next
vacation time go to church and ask to be healed through the
laying on of hands, and annointing. I have hearing, vision,
feet, and back problems. Do you think I should ask prayer for
all of them or just the ones that affects me the most in a
detrimental way?

when Jesus ministered out to others, His actions seemed very
simple and it always worked because He knew how to live in the
divine kingdom, while walking upon the earth.
He did not force Himself to love to heal to minister - because
He had learnt how to become LOVE AND HEALTH AND our DIVINE
MINISTER.
Christ is not His 2nd name but the power of God to work in
victory over this world of vanity.
Jesus grew up learning how this all came together.
Father showed this fact to me and it is so important to
understand.
He showed me a butter container full of creamy butter fit for
use and the plastic container it was in.
He said.....
''the butter is what is important NOT THE CONTAINER, it is the
BUTTER that norishes NOT THE CONTAINER.''
THEN He continued.
''It is My SPIRIT in you that needs to grow up and wax strong
- the real you is not your mind nor your body - they are just
your VISIBLE container for you are a SPIRITUAL BEING having a
human experience''
ITS NOT THE CONTAINER that is important but the butter inside.
The Spirit is real us, and needs to grow up and this growing up
allows our mind and body to be perfected, as was Jesus whole
being perfected.
The REAL US in invisible, perfect and sinless - meaning our God
particle is our spirit within - it is the mind and body that
wants to take over and sin and rebel .
Adam and Eve ALTERED the status quo, from Spiritual living into
mind and body living.
Jesus altered it all back to the right position of a SPIRITUAL
GIANT living here and now in a human body especially designed to
live here forever and in dominion over all things as Jesus had
dominion over all things. Dominion comes from a matured spirit.
Now, that is the real fact.
Our spirit is quickened to become ALIVE to salvation [freed
from sin and the devils manifesting out from us ] and this
spiritual quickening, corrects our minds, so we think as Jesus
thought and this in turn makes our body respond to becoming
whole.
''TO BE BLAMELESS IN SPIRIT SOUL AND BODY'' is what we all need
to understand.
The teacher for this divine education has to be the Holy Spirit
for HE IS THE ANOINTING that breaks all yokes and not from
religious man and from his opinions.
Once we move out from the apostate church scene and sit at the
feet of Jesus, we grow in leaps and bounds.
New life appears in us and blessings flow as we learn HOW TO
WALK IN THE RIVER OF LIFE correctly.
