I haven't talked with yall since my new toy came in. I bought a
cs-271t with a 12" bar and I must say I don't know how I got on
without it. actually I do know how I got on without it I was a
whole lot stronger back in the day. took it out early this
morning to cut one of my persimmons that had bent double into
the road. little saw made short work of it, just need to remind
myself to not grab the chain with my right hand when cutting
left handed.

I have to remind myself of something sort of like that. 1
handing right hand I will be grabbing stuff with the left. Hope
I dont ever mess up and do something stupid.
Fuzz1500 was saying he muffler modded and carb retune on his and
was like a different saw in the cut. Just so you know.

Anyone have a idea on the psi on this?
Guy was selling a used one and it showed 135psi. I thought that
was little low, but have no clue what they are normal at.

Guys echo 271 came with CAT muffler.
Info he shared that he found for the non cat one.
5030 = They stock all the non cat mufflers for Echo (and I
presume other makes as well).
Came in a Yamabiko box
Part number A300-001610
(made in Japan)
Part number on the stock muffler (CAT) is K10 7K1
Hope that helps...

Info saved from guy overseas =
There was around 20 years between those chassis 271 to 2511
(original was CS-2600T from late 90s).
Just checked for precision - CS-2600 was released in May 2000,
260T came out in 2006, featuring digital ignition system.
In 2011 it had another engine update (with stuffers) and became
280T (known as 271T in US).
In 2016 the 2511 was born.
280T is still around 🙂
Spec info max rpm etc in pics.
Echo 271 clamshell saw with stuffers like shown of the busted up
one here.
Heavy for size too as shown PHO dry
