Stihl 400.1 400 new redesign Stihl 363

We have a thread on this with pics on CRG FB. Stihl MS 400.1
Been hearing since last year that there maybe a MS400i sized saw
in the works.
This shows a plastic handle so makes me think could be 362 400
size. Check that back end of case and cover.
Anyone seeing or hearing anything else overseas or US?
One guy in Sweden said saw in pic is a new 400 he ran 2 days
ago.
Another guy in Wa claims he thinks it is a new 62cc 362 he has
ran testing 2 of them for the past year.
Time will tell I guess if it comes out.
yeah I ran it at an Stihl-event two days ago and reps told me
its the new 400!
362 replacement. 62cc had one for over a year testing.
I�ve literally had 2 of them the past year running hard
everyday. 62cc flimsy mounts not a lot of power 400 is better
saw in my opinion

It`s the MS 400.1 C-M with 62,6cc and 3,9kW (5,3PS) 5,5kg. The
saw will also be availible with heated handles. Will be
availible in the summer (July or later) here in Germany.

C = Marking for models with additional equipment
M = M-Tronic
W = heated grips,
V = Carburettor heater
.1 = Evolution stage 1 of the MS 400, the new MB01 series
L06 = Rail is identical to the Rollomatic E rail except for the
paint
ES Light = stable and high-quality lightweight rail

Someone posted this.
( According to rumors on the German language Internet = they
have abandoned the magnesium piston.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen any rational technical
justification other than speculation that it's all about cost. )

Been reading overseas. = The 400.1 has reliable sources, 62ccm,
no more 67ccm, since no magnesium piston is installed anymore
but classic aluminum.
So sort of confirming last. But will only know once out.

More talk there. Even a stihl MS363 that seems to be like the
MS400.1 but tunable carb. = The MS 400.1 comes as M-Tronic and
the MS 363 identical as a carburettor model without M-Tronic,
whereby I assume that the MS 363 will not be sold regularly in
Germany.
Both with and without handle heating.

No magnesium piston.
Current prototype only 160 g (0.353 lb.) lighter: 5.60 kg vs.
5.76 kg.
Enlarged air filter: the same as in MS 462.
