How do I get the oil pump worm drive off the shaft? I can move |

it till the threads for the clutch and no further. |

Metal spring or solid metal or nylon worm gear. Both kinds use a |
|
pullers. |
|
Sure you can come up with something. Some folks able to use |
|
flat screwdrivers and work off on different ones. IF not a press |
|
fit style. |

Metal, aluminium i think. I did try two screw drivers, since i |
|
had no puller handy tried using my oil puller and ruined it. |
|
Tried tapping it out, does not budge. |
|
Must be my second Homelite in 25 years since it is not sold |
|
here. Oil seals seem the culprit since it idles only with full |
|
choke, touch the throttle and it dies. |
