How do I get the oil pump worm drive off the shaft? I can move
it till the threads for the clutch and no further.

Metal spring or solid metal or nylon worm gear. Both kinds use a
pullers.
Sure you can come up with something. Some folks able to use
flat screwdrivers and work off on different ones. IF not a press
fit style.

Metal, aluminium i think. I did try two screw drivers, since i
had no puller handy tried using my oil puller and ruined it.
Tried tapping it out, does not budge.
Must be my second Homelite in 25 years since it is not sold
here. Oil seals seem the culprit since it idles only with full
choke, touch the throttle and it dies.
