New handle for Collins hatchet.

Made this handle from some old oak shelving I had around here.
I had to glue two pieces together for the correct thickness.

Nice looking too. Bet nicer then what came on it.
You would have liked the axe thread a guy just did. Lot of axe
collectors out there too. Even axe FB groups collecting and use.
Brad has a bunch south of me.

What I like most is, I made the handle around 15 inches long and
I can two hand it if I want.
The hatchet head is a collins and weighed 1 3/4 pounds.
Another fun project.
