| Made this handle from some old oak shelving I had around here. | |
| I had to glue two pieces together for the correct thickness. | |

| Nice looking too. Bet nicer then what came on it. | |
| You would have liked the axe thread a guy just did. Lot of axe | |
| collectors out there too. Even axe FB groups collecting and use. | |

| What I like most is, I made the handle around 15 inches long and | |
| I can two hand it if I want. | |
| The hatchet head is a collins and weighed 1 3/4 pounds. | |
| Another fun project. | |
