These Craftsman 3.3 seem to be 50/50 on being a bare bore or a
chrome bore. This one bare like a 3300.

Thats a wrap. Cleaned up nice after dirt dust wiped of.
Craftsman 3.3 black gold. Seem 50/50 on bare bores. Here
lately last 2 I seen were bare bores.
This one is now a chrome bore like black blue decal ones.
Had put a bare bore on it to replace the bad bare bore it came
with. First one was taken out by a circlip. Well during flushing
and airing I missed 1 piece of the broken up circlip hiding. So
another bar bore was ruined.
So now she is wearing a 54cc chrome bore.

I watched this gold black craftsman 3.3 54cc for 4 months.
Hoping someone would by it.
Today I said heck with it.
Didnt even try to start it yet. Seller seemed like one of the
most honest I ever dealt with.
Figure a collector or a local will want it.
Suppose to be original bar and chain. Homeowner owned.
Spur hardly been used.
Air filter getting thin on the flock on inner part.
Outer good though.
Others parts all kept clean.
I thought he had done good on the fuel line and tank vent line
from quick look. Till I checked the impulse line.
🤦‍♂️
P+c look good though.
Most psi I have seen from a bare bore. :o
This saw is SOLD pending me going through it and doing lines
etc.

Running and cut with for testing. She lives for another cut.
Fuel line, air filter back half, Impulse line. 8)
How NOT to run a impulse line on these. I looped it up on
bracket so you could tell what not to do.
Very common when they come in to me.

Came in for lost tensioner.
How most firewood guys bring them in. Just horrible up keep.
Good to see the poulan air filter not letting any fines by at
all.
This 3.3 is normally a bare bore. But I installed a chrome bore
54cc on it years back.
I double did my redneck tensioner fix on his.
I usually only do one piece of 3x6 echo line. Yes I have new
metal clips but this fix last longer and never had one returned.
I also do it on my own saws.
Also found carb loose. So went through everything and cleaned.
Ran and retune.
