I understand that this design is essentially the same as the |
|
aero-modeler Saito engine. Has anyone successfully converted a |
|
4-Mix for R/C aircraft use? Personally,I don't like the '4-Mix' |
|
engine design when used in a blower/trimmer; apparently Stihl |
|
believes that this design would still be allowed should all |
|
traditional 2-stroke engines stop being produced.......I don't |
|
believe that either will occur-after all,the 4-Mix engine still |
|
requires the oil/gas mixture that causes the alleged pollution |
|
when burnt ,regardless of how many valves the design has.... |

Some people think the lower pitch of the exhaust note of the |
|
four stroke to be more pleasing to the ear? |
|
The four strokes do have more torque |
