FWIW there is another freebie called "convert" which will do
distance,area, weight,speed etc .---Google it .

I always remembered 1mm is equal to approximately .040 inch.

You know what's funny about this,the British who gave three
barley corns equal an inch went metric years ago .Get on a Brit
motorcycle site and I'll be danged if they don't talk inches
.Go figure .

my son grew up here in oz on metric joined the airforce and had
to learn imperial measurements for spanners etc works on the P3

i bought a Haynes auto repair manual once still have not figured
out how to raise the bonnet . :)

I had an Austin manual that talked about driving with the hood
up. ??? Took a while until I realized they were referring to the
convertible top. The bonnet is the hood on this side of the
pond. Al, those Brit motorcycles are a whole 'nuther ball game
altogether. Unless you wear a tweed cap and talk with your mouth
full of marbles forget about them. ;D
