HC

I picked up an HC for free today, the dealer would not work on
it and the customer wasn't willing to pay anyway. It is complete
except for a chain, compression feels good so will get after it
once I clear off a couple of projects. What a beast, it would
take a bigger man than me to pack it around all day. Pictures to
follow.

It is actually a pre Pioneer IEL, they were made in Vancouver
B.C. This model was only manufactured in 1956 and 57. It has a
Tillotson HL carb so I'm hoping I can make it bark.

After repeated attempts to get this miserable madre going I
found a small piece missing from the reed, a small plastic disc.
The one from the recently acquired parts saw is even worse.
Sigh. It is back on the shelf for now, more important issues
pressing.
