They list it as a Lucas which I've never heard of nor could find
any info on .
It kind of looks like a table top Logan .Not a very large
machine but it might work for small stuff .If it runs and has
some tooling though the price isn't bad .If it has less than an
8" swing it would not be a machine of much good for saw work
although you can get by with 6 inchs of swing but you have to
get creative if that's all you have .

(lucas) means it is in Lucas , Ohio. Thats how CL list the
city it is in beside title.

Ahso ,that's where Malabar farm is ,Louis Bromfield .
Good old Louis had some good ideas but the worst was planting of
multiflora roses for fence rows . Had he stuck to osage orange
it would have been fine but those damned roses would just take
over and engulf everything in about 20-30 years .
The birds would eat the seeds from the ripe rose hips and eject
the things starting new roses and the battle carried on of how
to get rid of them .
When I built my shop I bulldozed a pile up the size of a 3
bedroom house and burned the whole mess .Under that mess was a
hay mower and an 8 foot disc my dad had forgoten he even owned .
