Been looking for a new air filter for my 166 for some time now |
|
with no luck, so lashed up this cone filter and inlet manifold, |
|
not pretty but makes a hell of a difference to performance. |

Cool on the v stack build. I had new NOS filters but let them |
|
go when I got out of the 166 stuff. If I come across the |
|
filters again I will let you know. |
|
Oh question, did you have the flat 2 piece air filter that fit |
|
under cover or did you have the K&N set up V stack ones with cut |
|
out AF cover. Those were both used on the 166. |

I see your AF cover now for flat filters. You can get a |
|
modified cylinder cover and af cover just for the style you went |
|
to. ( I had them but no longer have that either). Sorry. |

Going to say no, but memory is sketchy now, been awhile. It |

was just cut out and modified for the K&n. Ill try and find |
|
some pics. I know I dont have the cover I had or pics anymore. |

I'm thinking the air filter cover was tack welded and cut out to |

the cylinder cover too. On the k&n ones. |
