Poulan 445
By: 3000 FPS Date: August 21, 2012, 5:30 pm

This is a Poulan 445 I picked up about 4 months ago. I believe
it is a 71.5cc engine. I removed the Muffler and it has a very
nice looking piston and cylinder. It has good compression and
runs very good. Just thought I would show a few pictures. I
did notice that the starter has a different shade to it, but it
is origninal. I put a 24" bar and chain on it because I will
probably never need anything larger for what I cut. The saw is
stock and I have not made any modificatons to it yet. The
muffler is kind of funky looking and I may do something with it
for now.

Good looking saw. 70.7cc I believe. 50mm bore x 36mm stroke.
Does the 445 have the air injection system?
Which air filter set up does it have?
Magnus has the Partner 710 which I think is it's sister saw.

I was noticing that the starter cover is off in the shade of
yellow just like the one I have. Must have been something in
the plastic with those that did not match up with the painted
areas.
