DF, an interview we have discussed before. I also found BR's
article on it on his website.

MANK
I sat through the entire interview , which i consider quite an
achievement , i couldnt make out which is more worse.the
interviewer struggling and repeating the same questions or the
interviewee suffering from delusions of grandeur
Samanthas acting abilities ranges from average to very bad.She
has not grown as an actress at all and basically operates in 3
modes, cute-cuter-cutest. She has a very pleasing on screen
presence which i find very appealing in certain movies . i dont
know which are the performance based roles she is talking about.
all the top stars love pairing with her as she is considered a
mascot of sorts , being incredibly lucky enough to star in a lot
of big star super hit films . i liked her in Nee thane en
ponvasantham and in seethamma vaktlo sirimalli chettu, where she
made a nice pair with Mahesh Babu(with Chinmayi doing the
dubbing of course).
Beyond this, i dont buy a word of what she is talking here
...
@MANK did you happen to watch Thangamagan? (Dhanush +
Samantha/Amy jackson)
I thought Samantha did a good job in that one.
...
praneshp, yes . But it was the usual one note, cute submissive
wife right?, the one that she does best. And it had amy Jackson,
who can make any actress acting with her come across as Meryl
Streep
Btw, i remember Rahini had written a spectacular piece about
that film and Samanthas character. i remember more about her
piece how i just sat up and laughed and laughed- , than about
the actual film

Yes, this can be used as a reference , Sam was newly married at
that time.
Again I will say the same, this divorce with chaitanya, is her
only failure so far.
I understand why did she react the way she did.
Chay on the other hand has seen enough ups and downs.
Sam is intelligent, as said by chay himself.
It also proves chay-sam had a plan , there marriage was not a
hit of the moment decision as said by many. It also says, chay
had certain confusion regarding Sam's feelings from the
beginning. He thought Sam loves her career more than him.
Perhaps this is why they didn't start dating from ymc days.
Those comments are true, the real success she witnessed, as an
actress, only after marriage. 2018.
After that kajal information, i won't be surprised if it has
something to do with the fact Sam's extreme successful career,
post her marriage. What i felt chay and Sam were bff not husband
wife. That's why they looked cute. And between friends
competition is very common.
None of them were ready to stop for the sake of their family ???

All I can think is that thank God! they didn't have kids.
Whatever lead to the breakup was a blessing in disguise! The
marriage would have eventually have gone south.

Who divulged it if true? Did she also return the wedding
jewellery which would easily have been a couple of crores?

I ask you, what is she about to do for which she needs brownie
points? Yes, giving back the saree which is a family heirloom
was a no-brainer.

Yes, she can't leave this. No matter what she is going to bring
back this episode every now and then.
But she didn't realise that this also shows that how serious
chay was regarding this marriage.

So true! And the families in completely embracing her as
Chay's wife. She definitely needed to bank brownie points to
deflect this criticism:
