he looked really rusty and a little bit tight to me last night.
the serve was way off and he was giving up too much court by
trying to run around his backhand.
I just wonder if the back is still bothering him. it gets
cooler/cold in the desert at night. so that is not helping
either.
they are probably going to give him a couple of more night
matches.

I hear he sought treatment for his back after the match.
now I am really worried. why won't the back problem go away now.

Really Clay,
Rafa said during the press Conference yesterday that he does not
feel the back injury in any of the other movements he performs
during the game... only at the time of serving.

I see.
I read on twitter that he sought back treatment after his match.
perhaps it is a precautionary measure.
I am still worried about the back. I will not feel better until
he is off these hard courts and on clay.
this back injury is too risky.

Rafa seeks treatment from Maymo on every body part post
match/practice. This doesn't surprise me. His serve is off
because he hasn't had much practice time and he's on a different
surface than two weeks ago. I can inform you that he said his
FH was pissing him off (my words), but Step's serve was jumping
off the court last night. He could get whatever match time he
preferred- IMO- when you're in with the owner-you're IN- and
Larry looked more relieved that Rafa won than even Rafa.

all those hateful idiots need to get off Rafa's back about him
taking his time.
the man is a #1 global draw in all of sports on the planet now.
in short, he brings in the bacon. why not leave him the hell
alone.
he has to fight like hell to win is matches. nothing is easy. he
fights with his heart, his mind, his will, and his athletic
ability.
poor guy has been injured off and on ever since he was 17. he is
just trying to do his best.

Oh my God... Yesterday I prayed a lot for him to finish the game
without getting hurt... I remembered the sad AO Final, so I was
very scared.
Fortunately, Rafa has a strong and balanced mentality to handle
difficult situations like this... because he definitely needs
peace and rest to recover fully, but is struggling in an
environment of enormous pressure from all sides.
May God protect, heal and bless him, is all I ask in my prayers.

I really appreciate your extra information about Rafa.
...They are simply awsome.
I'm praying for our Rafa, always with positive thinking.
