| WHAT SIN DESTROYED FOR WOMEN | |
| The Oxford Dictionary describes MALE CHAUVINISM as male | |
| prejudice against women and the belief that men are superior in | |
| terms of ability, intelligence, etc. | |
| Male chauvinism and the oppression of woman has existed from the | |
| moment humanity sinned. The first account we read is when Adam | |
| said, THE WOMAN WHOM THOU GAVEST TO BE WITH ME, she gave me of | |
| the tree, and I did eat, Genesis 3:12. In this account, Adam | |
| blames God for his own failure in obedience and to cover his own | |
| transgression he blames the woman (Eve) whom God created to be | |
| his (Adams) companion (Genesis 2:18). | |
| Before Eve was created, God brought all the animals to Adam so | |
| that he could name each one, but within the animal kingdom Adam | |
| could not find a suitable helper (v.20). When Eve was created | |
| Adam exclaimed, AT LAST! This one is BONE FROM MY BONE, and | |
| FLESH FROM MY FLESH! She will be called woman, because she was | |
| taken from man., Genesis 2:23. Does this sound as if Adam | |
| was unappeased by her creation? He sounds happy, content and | |
| excited. Nonetheless, the man degrades, oppresses and rejects | |
| the woman in that instance when God confronts them about their | |
| transgression! Adam made it seem as if it were Gods fault for | |
| creating a damaged women, but read what it says in Genesis 1:31: | |
| God saw EVERYTHING that HE HAD MADE, and indeed it was VERY | |
| GOOD. So there was evening, and there was morning, a sixth day. | |
| God, who is omniscient, foresaw the treatment men would have | |
| towards women and said to Eve, HE WILL DOMINATE YOU, Genesis | |
| 3:16. Was this a punishment? No! This was a warning! It is | |
| not surprising that male chauvinism still exist today when we | |
| read the many biblical passages of the maltreatment of men | |
| towards women. This was NOT part of Gods plan for humanity | |
| because God is a God of love and to think differently signifies | |
| that we defame Gods character and His love. | |
| Today, domestic violence towards women includes human | |
| trafficking; rape; domination; control; manipulation; physical, | |
| mental, emotional and even spiritual abuse; among other | |
| afflictions, but with work correlated towards awareness and | |
| making resources available for women we could reduce this | |
| problem. Bare in mind that by the power of men, this problem | |
| will not cease to exist until Jesus returns to RESTORE ALL THAT | |
| SIN HAS DESTROYED. | |

| Amen, Carmen. | |
| This is so interesting. For years I went to sleep listening to | |
| the Bible. It was so soothing, tranquil, and serene. One night I | |
| wondered about this very passage. And I asked God to reveal the | |
| meaning of the story to me. | |
| In Genesis, when Adam blams Eve, a thought occurred to me. That | |
| story is often presented as Eve's fault. But, if you read | |
| carefully, God made the covenant with Adam before Eve even | |
| arrived. | |
| So, it was Adam who broke the covenant because that covenant was | |
| not made with both of them present. | |
| Still, people have blamed Eve, although she was never a part of | |
| the actual covenant. | |
| When we read the Bible we have to ask questions of God. He | |
| answers, because he has promised us that he would. | |

| So true Lady TT. When Eve sinned she was fully aware that they | |
| were not permitted to eat from the tree of knowledge (Genesis | |
| 3:2-3). However, it took the serpent (Satan) who is astute to | |
| deceive her. He must have been studying and watching them | |
| closely. When Satan saw her, he calculated his approach and | |
| knew that she would be the one to cause the domino effect and | |
| thus she was deceived. | |
| Look at this Genesis 3:6: | |
| The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and | |
| its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would | |
| give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she | |
| gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. | |
| (New Living Translation) | |
| When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it had | |
| a pleasing appearance and that the tree was desirable for making | |
| one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate. She also gave some | |
| to her husband, who was with her; and he ate. (Complete Jewish | |
| Translation) | |
| So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it | |
| was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, | |
| she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with | |
| her, and he ate. (King James) | |
| And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that | |
| it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make | |
| one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and ate, and gave also | |
| unto her husband with her; and he ate. (21st Century King James | |
| Version) | |
| Adam was with her! He just went along with what Eve said. She | |
| didn't deceive him, nor is there an account of | |
| it.......regardless.....sin entered into the Garden of Eden and | |
| the consequences of it all is still resounding today. | |

| I agree. Eve was deceived by the serpent, but Adam made no | |
| protest, knowing what God had told him as far as the terms of | |
| their covenant. | |

| refuse to do anything about it. | |
| police can be bribed and bought easily there. | |
