There are a lot of good books which we wish people would make
into films. I'd like to share mine & thought other people would
think the same & might like to share which books they wish had
been made into films.

I'll start with Villette which I think is better than Jane Eyre
yet Jane Eyre has been dramatized yet Villette hasn't. I think
Shirley would also have made a good film.

They don't always do credit to books when dramatizing them.

I'm waiting for Hollywood to get their act together and film
Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Excerpt: Eleven thousand years ago a god was born. Cursed into
the body of a human, Acheron spent a lifetime of shame. However,
his human death unleashed an unspeakable horror that almost
destroyed the earth. Then, brought back against his will,
Acheron became the sole defender of mankind.
Only it was never that simple. For centuries, he has fought for
our survival and hidden a past hell do anything to keep
concealed. Until a lone woman who refuses to be intimidated by
him threatens his very existence.
Now his survival, and ours, hinges on hers and old enemies
reawaken and unite to kill them both.
War has never been more deadly... or more fun.

That sounds interesting.
