| There are a lot of good books which we wish people would make | |
| into films. I'd like to share mine & thought other people would | |
| think the same & might like to share which books they wish had | |
| been made into films. | |

| I'll start with Villette which I think is better than Jane Eyre | |
| yet Jane Eyre has been dramatized yet Villette hasn't. I think | |
| Shirley would also have made a good film. | |

| They don't always do credit to books when dramatizing them. | |

| I'm waiting for Hollywood to get their act together and film | |
| Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon. | |
| Excerpt: Eleven thousand years ago a god was born. Cursed into | |
| the body of a human, Acheron spent a lifetime of shame. However, | |
| his human death unleashed an unspeakable horror that almost | |
| destroyed the earth. Then, brought back against his will, | |
| Acheron became the sole defender of mankind. | |
| Only it was never that simple. For centuries, he has fought for | |
| our survival and hidden a past hell do anything to keep | |
| concealed. Until a lone woman who refuses to be intimidated by | |
| him threatens his very existence. | |
| Now his survival, and ours, hinges on hers and old enemies | |
| reawaken and unite to kill them both. | |
| War has never been more deadly... or more fun. | |
