As the tide rolls in on yet another day at sea I pretend not to |
|
notice the glancing stares aimed at me. I look to the right and |
|
all there is fright and yet to the left seems to be what is |
|
best. First I see coming down from above is an angel of mercy |
|
she is full of love. I'm looking down and coming up from the |
|
ground is the devil himself with his hellish hounds. I beg for |
|
mercy but she turns away telling me this might just be my day. |
|
The waves crash in the I'm starting to sink into the abyss I no |
|
longer can think. This mercy angel who once held my hand is no |
|
longer beside the shell of am man. Darkness falls as night |
|
closes in I notice I'm dreaming please wake me up so my day can |
|
begin. There was no wind and nothing above just two souls in |
|
combat and one is called love. Please angel of mercy come back |
|
to me I'm living in darkness I wish not to be. I need you eyes |
|
to show me the way my desire is yet to live just one more day. |
