When posting walks.. |

This area of the forum is here to share and list walks in one |
|
convenient place... after all, the forum is called CacheWalker |
|
:D This week we've started to revamp the walks section, by |
|
adding new features such as maps and gallery integration. |
|
When posting walks please ensure you do as much of the following |
|
as you can: |
|
1) List any caches found along the route (how many?) |
|
2) State the distance of the walk |
|
3) Describe it briefly - what's the terrain like? Has it got |
|
nice views? |
|
4) Post directions - if you know the walk well... |
|
To ensure your posted walk get's listed ASAP on the map, and to |
|
help users, please also: |
|
5) Post a link to the first cache |
|
AND/OR |
|
6) Post the starting coordinates/grid reference (should no |
|
caches be on the walk) |
|
There are no rules as to where the walks are - they can be in |
|
the UK or beyond - so get posting and sharing walks like never |
|
before! |

There's a larger map (with updated walk details) and a new way |
|
to submit walks: via a form. This should make it easier for more |
|
people to share walks if they want to :) |
|
So, feel free to post walks here, or simply fill out the form |
|
(which shouldn't take too long) and the map will be updated ever |
|
so often with submissions! |
|
Will see how it goes for a couple of months, if not many people |
|
use the form I'll probably remove it rather than keeping it |
|
live. |
