'The Turks' |
|
Karagumruk Gang, also known as 'Yatak Odası �etesi' was |
|
founded in 1992 by Nuri Ergin and Vedat Ergin. Their name was |
|
officially announced by Turkish government when they managed to |
|
escape from a prisoner transport van while they were en-route to |
|
court. However, they were arrested again in 1999 for murdering |
|
the witness of Sabanci Assassination. We can easily say that |
|
they spent most of their life in jail. After few years, a gang |
|
war broke out between Karagumruk and Alaattin Cakici's Gang. |
|
More than 200 men have died during this gang war. After this |
|
incident, Nuri Ergin and Vedat Ergin sentenced to life in |
|
prison. Eventually, they lost control of their gang and it's |
|
members. No one knows where they are now and what they are doing |
|
any longer. |

Now the gang is controlled by a bunch of Nuri Ergin's men in |
|
USA. It has a new lead and everything is changed now. No more |
|
Turkish style, everyone has to live on their own. Gang members |
|
often operate in Cell Block B. |
