A new appreciation for pocket knives

I really didn't give it too much thought when it came to pocket
knives.(I'm more of a fixed blade guy) Until I decided to pull
the trigger sort of speak on a few different Higher end brands.
I'm not talking about knives like what Chris Reeve's puts out,
that's way above my pay grade. But I saved some cash up and
bought a few of them and EDC'D all of them for about two weeks
each. And quickly found out the ones I paid more money for I def
liked better, They just felt better, stronger and more reliable.
You always here that saying buy once cry once, well I have cried
a lot.The one specific knife I'll be talking about today is the
Benchmade 560(Non Assisted), I love this knife! I love the
handles, the colour, The Pocket clip is robust and can be
changed for left or right carry. (Tip up only) I like the fact
it has a very high grind.I didn't really know what to expect
with the new versaflex handle material but, it offers a sure
grip and seems pretty tough'' At first I was like is it going
to be a pain in the ass going in and out of your pocket?'' But I
quickly realized that there was no Issue. This is the first
Benchmade I've ever owned, I've always heard people complain
about different model's. And No there is no glass breaker, Want
a Glass breaker? Buy a rescue knife. And not seeing very many
videos on YouTube, I took the chance and I'm sure glad I did.My
final thoughts on this are as follows The S30V blade is
fantastic and the grip and ergonomics are exceptional. For a
large sized pocket knife you'd hardly even notice it. Keeps an
edge like no ones business. It was shaving hair sharp right out
the box. I def give this knife a 4.5 out of 5. Here are some
specs
