[Unique? Well, I do try but tbh, I'm not quite where I want to
be but I still love the characters I create. :)]

Haruka stood still as Nyx ran past him, being fascinated with
the maple tree.
"We're not in autumn," he said, answering her question, "we're
in the second half of winter."

Nyx frowns at his words, not quite understanding what he exactly
meant until a few seconds after it finally clicked. Her mouth
shaped into a 'o' and she tilted her head. "Yeah...you're
right." She looks back at the maple, studying the colours.
"That's strange, but they really are pretty." She gives him a
small smile before backing away from it. After backing away she
goes onto her tippy toes and sneakily peeks over his shoulder at
the map, looking to find where they were supposed to go next.
"Uh, it says we have to go this way." She points in front of
her. "But it's a total dead end." She spoke in a confused tone.

"Yea... I guess.." He said, as he watched a leaf fall slowly
to the ground. Feeling Nyx's presence move around behind and
over his shoulder, he slowly moved his attention back to the
map, as he heard Nyx speak.
"Well, there must be something around there, we're gonna have to
search." Haruka turned towards the direction the map continued
to lead them to.

Nyx bit down on her lip nervously at his words and seeing him
walk into the dark and creepy looking pathway ahead of them. She
was starting to feel quite scared and anxious about their
journey to find the haunted house. What if something happened to
the boy and she was left alone? It was a selfish thought but Nyx
was certainly thinking it. She didn't want to admit her feelings
of troublesome to Haruka, she could tell he was determined to
find the location of the house and didn't want to annoy him. Nyx
made sure to stick close by his side, not wondering if it was
making him uncomfortable.

Haruka looked at Nyx through the corners of his eyes as she
stuck close to him.
"Getting more clingy than earlier, huh?" He stated as he
continued as he was.

Nyx frowns slightly and shakes her head immediately. "N-No!" She
exclaimed a bit too loudly and looked up at him, not wanting
Haruka to know that she was scared. "Im...just....cold." She
mumbles quietly before feeling herself trip over a branch from a
tree. "Gah!" She yelled before putting her hands out to save her
from badly hurting herself. Her face turned bright red and
colour when realizing what she had done. She was extremely
clumsy but was hoping she wouldn't trip in front of him. She
quickly brushed the dirt off her knees and skirt, standing up
completely embarrassed.

"Don't worry about it, some close friends of mine are quite..
Touchy feely, so no need to--". Haruka turned around, as he
heard Nyx yell. Seeing her stand up, he asked with a curious
and confessed expression if she were alright.

"Yes, I'm fine...don't worry." Nyx replied too quickly and made
sure the dirt was completely off her clothing. Once done she
peeked up to see him walking ahead once again. The girl huffed
and ran up after him for the twice time on the trip. "Haruka,
stop leaving me behind, meanie." She grabbed his hand to slow
him down, not wanting to continuously play catch up. "I have
tinier legs then you, keep that into consideration."

"Yet I'm somehow still shorter than you." Haruka stated blankly,
then suddenly stopped. He turned and then looked at Nyx.
"Sorry, it's just... Something seems a bit weird about all this
and though I don't want to go closer, I do. Something is
pulling me in, something is there.." Saying all this, Haruka's
would slowly get bigger and bigger with every statement.

Nyx hadn't payed much attention to his height, it was one in a
few rare times that someone was actually shorter then her. "Oh,
you are..." She trailed off with her head tilted sideways in
confusion. "What do you mean pulling you in?" She grasps harder
on his hand, pulling him behind her suspiciously.
