Noisy Brakes

Hi, I have a 2012 Timber ridge 27DBH travel trailer. I love the
trailer buy the brakes sound awful at speeds less than 20kph.
The brake shoes and drums are in great condition and I have
cleaned out all dust and see no signs of any glazing. Any ideas
on how to quiet them down?? :-\

Wish I could give you some advice. I have never run into a noisy
brake issue on any of the trailers I have had... Good Luck in
tracking down the issue.

By awful, do you mean that they are squealing ? or, is it a
grating sound ?
Do they make the awful noise on paved roads , or dusty gravel
roads ?

The sound is a hi pitch squeal that occurs at speeds lower than
20kph on all road types, while braking normally not
aggressively.

I am not a qualified brake mechanic, but in the past ,when I had
a similar problem on cars I roughed the brake shoes with sand
paper, or emory cloth, & that usually took care of the
squealing.
