I did a bit of research on Wicklands static electricity machine.
He was directed by the spirits to apply a static charge to
victims head and spine to purge the infesting obsessive spirits,
and spirit helpers would drag these spirits to Wickland's medium
wife in another room. Then Wickland could talk to the spirits,
which is what Wicklands book is all about. The machine Wickland
used was a Wimsurst machine that creates static electricity. It
occurs to me that this might be a treatment for spirit
possession in itself. The spirits complained of cold showers
also. I think few of us are going to become skilled exorcists
with the exception of Elric but perhaps just getting rid of
infesting spirits might be possible.

Interesting. Hadn't heard of that before. Thanks for sharing.
Most have a 6th sense of some sort.
I'm mainly clairsentient. There's no doubt when there's a
negative entity because I feel it.
I've sensed the presence of spirits since I was quite young.
They terrified me.
My lay-preacher father determined that was a sure sign of the
boogyman ... er, I mean the 'Devil', that needed to be beaten
out of me.
Religious indoctrination + beatings does not make a healthy
mind. It took a lot to make me face reality and confront that
indoctrination.
I've seen over 15 of my past lives. Most involved the church.
One in particular is very interesting, where I was heavily
involved as a priest/sorcerer. The hypocrisy of the church knows
no bounds - I used my 'gifts' to persecute 'witches' for doing
much less.
That life showed that what I know and who I am today, is built
on the efforts from past lives.
We see the same thing with artists, mathematicians and musicians
for example, who are naturally gifted in their fields of
expertise. It's an accumulation from many lifetimes.

Because I meditated sometimes 4 hours a day when I was 16
through about 20 and had natural psychic abilities I remembered
several past lives. The only "good" one was as a Catholic priest
where I spent all my time actually helping people. Any good
karma I have today is from that life. The others were nothing
special but mainly servants. I was born humble probably from all
those servant lives. This life has been nothing special, after a
good start I had to make a living and spent my life in business,
accumulating for my retirement. Now I see my life was too
selfish and instead of seeking enlightenment for myself I will
devote my afterlife to helping others.

Regular meditation definitely helps re; bringing out ones
abilities.
I've helped others to see hundreds of their past lives.
It's interesting how ones subconscious/Higher Self/Oversoul
protects us by initially showing us mundane lives, before
revealing ones that are deep and meaningful.
The truth is that we've all lived many lifetimes. We've all had
lives that we'd rather not see and others that fill us with a
warm glow.
We've all been villains at some point.
There's nothing wrong with seeking Enlightenment, though very
few achieve it in this dense realm.
Once I put aside my fears and faced my religious indoctrination,
it led to seven rather intense years of research, contemplation,
meditation and ritual practice.
My only motive was to simply know the truth.
Funny thing was that each time I thought that I was close to
'knowing all', I'd find that it was yet another false summit.
Eventually I reached a point where I hit a plateau where I
understood what I call the basics of reality and realised that
that was sufficient for the here and now.
Facing my indoctrination was the hardest thing I've ever done.
That in itself was a huge achievement. [Many who do the same and
follow a similar path end up mentally disturbed] So I'm rather
content now and having a rest until I feel the urge to continue.
I've heard from many sources that this will be my last physical
incarnation in such a dense realm and that I will be actively
involved with helping others in my next incarnation. It's a nice
thought for sure.
But since we see a much bigger picture once we're free from our
mortal bodies, what we choose here may not be what we have
planned before we came into this life.
That's not necessarily a bad thing because we often make the
mistake of selling ourselves short.
Simply reaching a point of understanding where we no longer fear
physical death is a much bigger achievement than many realise.
Awareness is everything.
