Fitbit users

I'm not sure if physical activity can be a hobby, but I'm
thinking that it can be. I've been wrong before. ;D
I got a Fitbit Charge 3 for Christmas this year. I'm still
getting used to it. So far, I love it! I do wonder if I'm using
it most effectively. For the last few days, I have been
virtually hiking Yosemite's Vernal Falls. The mini achievements
have me up moving around a lot more than I'd been walking.
Does anyone else use Fitbit? I'd love to have some new friends
on the app. Can exercise be a hobby? What do you think?

I've owned several Fitbits over the last few years, and
currently have a Versa. It does keep me motivated.

I had a Fitbit Flex but it died after 18 months. I switched to
a Garmin Vivofit 2 (3?), which I like better because you don't
have to charge it. But the battery died before Christmas so I
was going to replace it. When I looked, everything except that
model all need to be charged. It is due to the amount of data
it sends back and forth to your phone or computer. So I'm going
to try replacing the battery in my Vivofit, first. If that
works, great. If not, I'll have to look at something else.
Probably around my birthday, in June.
Anybody here still have a Fitbit Flex? Just before it died, I'd
bought a 3 pack of bands. So I have the original small and this
new pack of smalls. My larges were pretty beat up. They need a
medium size! The small barely fits and the large is almost too
large. I'd be happy to send them to you if you'd pay the
postage.

I wish my charge lasted longer than 5 days. At 7 days, you could
easily remember to recharge it every Sunday night, say. But at 5
days it always takes me by surprise when it gets low.

I charge mine when I'm in the shower. I like the reminders to
move every hour.

Yours charges that quickly? My flex took a couple of hours to
charge which is why it drove me nuts to have to do it so
frequently.
Though I suppose if you charged it every day when you were in
the shower, it wouldn't take that long to charge. That's
actually a really good idea, if I have to go back to something
that requires regular charging.
