You made my day

O.K. maybe it was a slow day but THANK YOU to whomever suggested
a way to part with 'things' cluttering up the house is to think
of them being unhappy where they are. Giving them away with the
chance to go to another home where they will be appreciated is a
Good thing.
My kitchen cabinets were refaced this week. I had to completely
empty out all of them. Today was the day to put everything back.
Except the sole drinking glass from a set of 6 that was a
wedding gift 40 years ago. Or the plastic pitchers taken home
from various stays in hospitals, or the Tupperware hamburger
press that was last used in 2003.
I either put many things in the recycling bin or donation pile.
Ah my updated kitchen has lots of storage space now. 8~)
If you care the upper cabinets remain white but the lower ones
are now light blue.

Sometime later this year, I'll have the same issue. When my
kitchen is remodeled, I plan to do the same, deciding what's
allowed to come back.

Late to this [catching up on my BM&B!], but whoever posted that
deserves a thank-you from me, as well.
If I can think that someone else would love <this> it makes it
so much easier to let go of, and when I've let got of a few
"treasures" the overproliferation of takeaway containers* seems
ripe for a "cull". I haven't persuaded my husband yet, but last
time I stacked them I threw away all but one type of identical
box/matching lid.
No more searching for the right lid - they all were. :D
* Very useful for freezing leftovers
