Gmatoy mentioned doing these petal pouches, and I found a video |
|
(link below) and I just had to make one. Took about half an |
|
hour, including finding and ironing fabric, and finding the |
|
ribbon. They do have a fair sized gap in the top where the |
|
fabric bunches up. I would love to make a bunch, but don't know |
|
to whom I would give them, or what I would put in them. They |
|
can be made larger. |

I think that's a wonderful idea! You'd have to use plastic wrap |
|
or a plastic bag to hold the cookies but having those little |
|
bags in Christmas fabric would be a perfect little hostess or |
|
gift exchange gift. |

My nephew plays D&D and I thought the same thing. |
|
I've seen similar bags/ pouches used as makeup bags. They were |
|
the same design and pretty large. I almost bought it for travel. |
|
The benefit that I liked was you could open it to lay out |
|
everything to see it all and then gather it all up to pack up |
|
efficiently. |
