THINGS i NEED TO SAY

First: When Arnvid asked me to become the Second here, it
was with the understanding we would work together as it
takes a lot of work and one man is not enough to do it
justice. Some of you know, some not I was scheduled for some
major surgery in May and leading up to that Arnvid
seemed to disappear from the earth and I could not get a
hold of him, so being the quiet mild mannered man I am I
got pissed thinking he broke his promise to me and said
that is it I am out of here. In hind sight not a good or
wise decision. After the surgery and a short time in another
room I knew I had made the wrong decision but it was too
late... Since then have found out about Arnvid and that hit
me hard, should have known he would not just leave me
hanging.. to those of you who have left because the home
is dwindling away, I understand why and wish you the best,,
as a guest here know I encourage those left here to band
together as one family, come as often as you can and work
to rebuild so when Arnvid returns this home is as
strong and as proud as when he was forced to leave.
This was a good home with great people it can be that
again ...

Thanks for hanging in there and coming back to the Outpost
Haldor. I am here in spirit while real life keeps my time so
tight I just get a time to check the boards here and there. Time
is coming soon when things at work and home should relax a bit
and allow me to return. Those who left have their reasons and I
have not been here to personally make them choose differently,
but I and my woman stay for as long as I for see. That means we
have not made any plans to go elsewhere and are not looking.

Haldor,
I understand where you are coming from. I remember the few
weeks before he left very well, there were some people who were
trying to cause a lot of problems, fortunately most are gone
while some remain. It can cloud your thinking and with Arnvid
being MIA it all starts to look bad. You did what you thought
you should at the time. No one can blame you for that. You
came back and that means a lot to those of us who are still
here.
While I don't begrudge anyone who has felt the need to go..
Dwildor and I aren't leaving. We are waiting for Arnvid to
return just like you, Amira, Krul, sol and others. Dwildor and
I have both spoken to the reps from PoD about the room. We have
told them we will do what we can to keep his room going as best
we can until he can make it back. But they know we are working
as a family to do that, even though some of our "family" still
have guest tags until Arnvid's return.. ~smiles~

There are those whose journeys must continue to go on to find
what is best for them,, I wish them well and complete
happiness...
then there are those whose journeys bring them back home like
Yours did Jarl..
Once a long time ago when I first joined the home,, a smart FW
[aye you Amira} once told me,,, come in have fun,, ask questions
.. we ARE a family and youll have fun..
Families often times find themselves drifting only to be pulled
back into a circle by familar bonds .....they circle round in
times of trouble and protect ..they hold you when you need to
vent rant and cry,,, and yes even give you hell when you need
it,,
Truer words were never heard then this simple phrase...
This Home is FAMILY...
